How do I place an order?
Click the "Reserve" button in the top right-hand corner and fill out the form according to your needs. If you have additional questions, please call us at 910.707.3779 or email us at carolinacribsrental@gmail.com.
Please note that we will request that the reservation form be filled out to collect all of the needed information to ensure that you receive your delivery at the right place and the right time!
How far in advance should I place an order?
We love a 48 hour notice, but suggest that you reserve as far in advance as possible in order to ensure that you are able to reserve the gear that you need. We definitely understand last minute plans, so if it is less than 24 hours, call us and we will make every effort to meet your needs!
Can I request extra gear at the last minute?
Of course! We will make every effort to provide you with the extra gear that you need.
I need 2 cribs! What do I do?
On the reservations page, tell us that in the message box and we'll adjust your order accordingly.
I need a baby gate! What do I do?
On the reservations page, tell us that in the message box and we'll adjust your order accordingly. Remember that our minimum order is $50. So, if the baby gate is an add-on to something else, it is a minimal expense. If you want just baby gates, it is going to be $50.
Is there a rental agreement?
Yes, we have a rental agreement. You will receive it via email the week of your renal. We know that plans can change at the last minute, so we wait to send both the liability waiver and the payment link. The rental agreement must be signed and returned for the reservation to be completed.
What is your delivery fee?
For gear delivered on Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher), there is no delivery fee. For gear delivered off the island, please email us to request a quote.
Where do you deliver?
Our main service area is Pleasure Island (Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher), but we also deliver to downtown Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. Delivery fees will apply outside of Pleasure Island. We do not deliver to Atlantic Beach, Holden Beach, Ocean Isle, Emerald Isle, Topsail, Oak Island, Southport or the Outer Banks. They are too far, and therefore cost prohibitive for customers.
Do you deliver to the airport?
We apologize, but at this time we do not deliver to the airport.
Can I pick up the items myself?
We do not currently have this option.
What is your minimum order?
Our minimum order is $50.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that issues arise where cancellations are sometimes necessary. Please give us as much notice as possible.
How do you define the rental period?
We define the rental period on a 24 hour schedule. As an example, if you rent gear Friday at 6pm, and return it Sunday before 6pm, it is a 2 day rental.
Can you deliver my items before I arrive?
In many instances, yes. For hotels, we can almost always drop off items prior to your arrival and pick them up after you leave. For property rental companies, we have been on the island long enough that they will often provide us with a code in advance to drop off your items. For VRBO and AirBnB rentals, check with your property manager and we’ll work with them to set everything up.
How do you clean your items?
Scent and color-free detergent and baby-friendly all-purpose cleaners.
Are linens included with my crib/pack 'n play/aerobed order?
Yes. We provide one set of sheets. For cribs and pack 'n plays, we also provide a mattress and mattress pad.
What if I smoke?
We reserve the right to use judgement during the delivery. If there is smoking inside the house, we will not deliver the equipment. We will refund your payment less a $30 delivery fee.
